Boston Terriers and Boxers
Now, Boston Terrier or Boxer is not usually the breed you think of when you hear the word “ranch”. They are however, they are a good all round dog, and highly adaptable to any family situation, from ranches to urbans settings they are just an ideal family dog or best friend. Here we have found them all to be very good with all sorts of livestock, they love to go for rides in vehicles, so drives round and round the field is ideal for them. It also makes a long day in the tractor a little less boring. They are cow checking experts!
It doesn’t matter what you are wanting to do the Boston Terrier and Boxers is up for any adventure big or small! It could be a of its fetch, a car ride or just hanging out watching TV after a very long day.
When you get one of our pup we want he parents of the puppies to be as emotionally and physically fit as possible, good healthy dogs raise much nicer babies then dogs that are not socialized enough. We do genetic and health testing on all of our dogs! We want people to have lifelong trouble free family member, We do all we can to ensure you new best friend will be with you a long time!
It doesn’t matter if you are in the city or the country our Boston Terrier puppies we raise have had the kind of start I wish every puppy could have.
Kramer
Kramer is a small LilacBoston Terrier and our sweet little man, he is maybe the calmest dog you will ever see in your lifetime.
He enjoys going for a nice walk, Kramer feels no real need to run off with the other dogs on the daily walks. Walking beside you is his perfect pace. He does not hesitate for a second if he spots a black bear, she will happily save you and chase it away
Watching the other dogs play fetch is more fun then fetching, he loves sleeping on his back on our couch. He is one of the dogs that always picks a different bed to sleep on as he just has to be fair and share his love with all the people who live here and all who visit. He is our most family dog of the bunch, he tends to stamp his pups have this incredibly calm quiet way about them and his beautiful Lilac coloring.
Molly
Miss Molly or Molly Moo, joined us from a home in a city and quickly adapted to her new life as a ranch dog. She has a wonderful kind and playful personality. She is the happiest of all the dogs we have. This girl has every Boston Terrier trait we strive to have! From her beautiful conformation ( with a slightly longer nose like the breed used to have before everyone started breeding super flat faces) To her outgoing get along with everyone personality!
You can usually find her with my husband, helping with feeding cattle or fixing equipment. Molly picked him he had no choice, she is his dog
Lottie
Firstly you either get photos of a Boxer being.. Well a boxer clown or you get a photo of them sleeping.
For Lottie I opted for one of her favorite summer passtimes! Leaping in tall grass, Lottie is one of the most fun and loving dogs at the ranch! She wants to go on extra walks and insisits she is still the size she was when she was 3 month old. Maybe it was a mistake to let her sit on our knee so long... but she is one top notch cuddler.
She has just had our first litter of Boston Terrier x Boxer are beautuful. My heart melted the moment they were born!
I believe all animals need to be raised in a loving, healthy and ethical environment meeting higher then the minimum standards, because honestly minimum is not good enough. Not having a regulated pet industry doesn't make sense (I’d like to see it come to a point where they are inspected and tracked very closely) This is the only way that there will be an end to unethical breeding practices and the shutting down of puppy mills. I would encourage you to contact Ministry or Agriculture via email ARG.Minister@gov.bc.ca and request better regulations for the pet industry in British Columbia. Also, if you believe that you have been in contact with a breeder who is not breeding ethically or is a puppy mill do not hesitate to contact your local SPCA, they would much rather find out you were wrong, then not be contacted and have puppies in distress. Also if a person is an good breeder they will not have an issue showing their animals or animal raising practices to anyone.
